Job Description

This contract opportunity starts August 17, 2025, and continues through May 30, 2026, offering a dynamic work environment at a friendly elementary school. Youll have a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, focusing your expertise at one location, while benefiting from paid administrative tasks and meetings.

As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you will work closely with a supervising SLP to deliver direct therapy and contribute to assessments. The hiring team has full supervision in place, ensuring guidance and mentorship as you support students communication needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Speech Communication or related field (required)
  • Current or eligibility for SLPA state licensure
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus, though not required
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, engaging student environments

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to K-5 students under SLP supervision
  • Assist with speech and language assessments and documentation
  • Carry out IEP-driven goals and support progress monitoring
  • Maintain accurate and timely records on student performance
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to an enthusiastic school culture
