This role offers flexibility to work onsite or virtually, with weekly hours ranging from 20 to 40, and a manageable caseload of 4550 students across elementary and middle grades.
Your expertise will make a lasting impact by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders, collaborating with educators and families, and creating individualized treatment plans designed to maximize students potential in a supportive school environment.
What were looking for:
- Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathologist License
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
- Commitment to fostering communication skills in children with diverse backgrounds and needs
- Ability to adapt therapy to virtual platforms, if remote work is preferred
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with educators, staff, and families
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech and language services to a consistent caseload of 4550 students
- Conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and documenting progress
- Delivering individual and group therapy sessions either onsite or with robust remote tools
- Consulting with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication
- Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
