Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Valid NCDPI SLP License (must be active and verifiable)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience providing speech services in a school setting
  • Familiarity with ECATS system required
  • Ability to manage a caseload of up to 50 students, currently approximately 39
  • Skill in presenting at IEP meetings, conducting screenings/evaluations, and formulating goal-oriented plans

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-person speech-language interventions to elementary and middle school students
  • Participate in the IEP process, presenting evaluations and performance levels, and helping develop annual goals
  • Complete necessary screenings and comprehensive evaluations
  • Track and report progress, maintaining student records in ECATS
  • Work collaboratively with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families
  • Provide both direct and consultative services as defined in students IEPs

Offer Details & Benefits This is a full-time, school-based contract position, aligned with the academic calendar (August through May).
