Desired Qualifications:

• Active speech-language pathology license in the state of Michigan
• Previous experience in a school-based environment is preferred, but not required
• Comfortable working with students from diverse backgrounds and varying abilities
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Flexibility to adapt approaches for a range of ages, from elementary through high school

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals and document student progress
• Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Implement evidence-based interventions and adjust strategies to address student needs
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Offer guidance for classroom modifications and provide strategies to support inclusion
• Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and team collaborations where needed
