Qualifications:

• Active Michigan SLP license required
• Background in school-based settings highly preferred
• Experience with a variety of grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
• Comfortable collaborating within interdisciplinary teams
• Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy to students with diverse communication needs
• Conduct assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Develop and deliver targeted interventions in both individual and group settings
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust strategies to meet goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote best outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute specialist input for program planning
• Offer training and resources to school staff regarding communication disorders
