Job Description

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Previous experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare settings preferred
  • Familiarity with K-12 IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication skills and collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfort with teletherapy platforms and technology integration
  • State licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct direct and teletherapy sessions as appropriate
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support students progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
  • Support students in building lasting communication skills to thrive academically and socially
