Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) at a vibrant school environment near Midland, GA. This contract position spans the upcoming academic year from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with potential for additional planning days before and after the term begins. Flexible scheduling is offered, ranging from part-time to full-time hours (up to 37.5 hours per week), allowing an ideal work-life balance. Caseload assignments will be thoughtfully matched with each SLPs experience and the schools needs, fostering personal and professional growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold current Georgia SLP license and GaPSC Educator certification
- SLP-CCC credentials required; SLP-CFYs highly encouraged to apply
- Proven experience working in school-based settings is advantageous
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Passion for fostering student development and academic success
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
- Support students communication goals through engaging and evidence-based interventions
