Support students in a dynamic educational environment as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Columbus, GA area. This contract position involves delivering specialized speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, helping them develop essential communication skills critical to their academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia SLP License required
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and students
Position Details:
- Location: Columbus, GA
- Contract role, 37.5 hours per week
- Five days per week schedule
- Serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among school-age children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate speech and language strategies in the classroom
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress
