As a Speech Language Pathologist in this role, youll work closely with educators, parents, and other support staff to assess and address the speech and language needs of elementary-aged students. Whether youre an experienced clinician or completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), theres room to grow, learn, and make meaningful connections.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Georgia SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings preferred
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
- Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and administrators to support student outcomes
