Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a summer school assignment located in Middletown, DE. This contract role offers the opportunity to support students over a 37.5-hour workweek during the summer months, focusing on delivering specialized speech and language services in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective communication strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP CCC) is required.
  • Experience working in a school environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
