Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current, valid Connecticut SLP License required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric speech language pathology preferred
- Open to candidates seeking CFY mentorship or experienced SLPAs in school or healthcare settings
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to engage and motivate high school students
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver therapy sessions tailored to high school-age learners
- Consult with teachers and parents to support generalization of skills across settings
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely student records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
- Stay current with best practices and maintain licensure requirements
