Qualifications & Skills:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist License is required
- Clinical Certificate of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Background in pediatric speech therapy, especially within school-based settings
- Proficiency providing teletherapy services, with experience in virtual platforms
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Adaptability in working with diverse student populations, K-12th grade
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language evaluations for students across grade levels
- Develop and carry out Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide engaging, effective therapy sessions tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to compliance standards
- Offer guidance and resources to families and staff regarding speech and language strategies
