Step into a rewarding, school-based contract opportunity as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) in a supportive educational environment. This on-site role offers the chance to positively impact the communication skills and academic success of students from pre-K through 12th grade across a variety of school settings. Assignments may include working with diverse populations at one of several schools, including specialized center schools for students with more intensive needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Florida Department of Health SLP license (CCC required)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy, supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Ability to manage an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students, subject to change by location
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with educational teams, teachers, and families
• Proficient documentation and organizational skills
• Must be available for on-site work; this position is not open to VOCO/virtual therapists

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy to assigned caseloads
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Liaise with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement and participation
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Take an active role in team meetings and contribute to student success planning

Additional Details:

• Full-time, 35 hours per week, MondayFriday during the academic year (8/10/26 5/28/27)
• Locations may include several elementary, high school, or center school campuses
• Participation in timely credentialing, including fingerprinting and potential JLA badge process, is required
