Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) working directly with students in the Baltimore area. This on-site position offers a unique chance to support childrens communication development throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Starting September 2, 2026 and continuing through June 17, 2027, youll play an essential part in enhancing students success and helping them thrive in an academic environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Maryland Professional Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, with the flexibility to adapt to various age groups and caseloads
- Ability to provide proof of all required licenses and credentials
- Completion of district-specific background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review as outlined in House Bill 486
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort with pre-employment prescreen interviews to determine fit for school environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech/language therapy services to students based on their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and document progress in accordance with district policies
- Work closely with teachers and special education staff to facilitate students academic achievement
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP development, and progress conferences
- Travel between assigned campuses as needed to meet caseload demands
