Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Maryland SLP license is required.
- Experience in pediatric settings, including school-based caseloads.
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY candidates are welcome.
- Background in teletherapy or healthcare environments a plus.
- Proficiency with a mixed caseload across K-12 grade levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with a range of speech, language, and communication challenges.
- Manage a mixed caseload, tailoring interventions to meet individual educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff within a welcoming and responsive district.
- Maintain timely and meticulous documentation as required by district and state standards.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams.
- Utilize technology for teletherapy if needed.
