Job Description

Make a difference this summer supporting students communication skills in an educational setting near Mexico, NY. This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists at any stage of their careerCCC-SLPs as well as Clinical Fellowswho bring a passion for pediatric and school-based services.

Youll work across two school sites serving K-12 students on a part-time basis from July 6th through August 14th. The district uses a caseload model, with specific numbers being finalized. The position offers both itinerant work and paid travel, ensuring your time and expertise are valued. Administrative time, paid team meetings, and indirect hours are incorporated into the role for added support.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid NY SLP license and TSSLD certification
  • Clinical Fellow applicants welcome (district supervision provided)
  • Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based caseloads (all K-12 ages)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services per student IEPs across two sites
  • Collaborate with special education teams and family members
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings (admin hours included)
  • Adapt therapy to diverse student needs and educational settings
  • Travel between sites (paid travel included)
  • Attend training as provided by the district
