Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available, offering the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. This role is based onsite in Methuen, MA, and involves travel assignments within school settings, allowing for a diverse and engaging professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students in grades prek-8, addressing various communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, assessments, and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to support student communication development.

Qualifications:

  • Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
  • DESE Certification required for school-based practice.
  • Experience or interest in working with pediatric populations, including schools and healthcare settings.
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload of 35-37.5 hours per week.
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or current participation is welcomed.
