Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid MA Speech-Language Pathologist license
- DESE (Department of Elementary & Secondary Education) Certification required
- Relevant skills or experience in school-based settings, including:
- SLP - CCC
- SLP - CFY
- SLP - Pediatrics
- SLP - Healthcare
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt interventions for varying student ages and needs
- Experience working with a diverse student population is a plus
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and therapy plans tailored to student goals
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other specialists to monitor progress and adjust strategies
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations or interventions as needed
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, adjusting instruction to meet each students unique needs
