A full-time Speech Language Pathologist role is available for a contract position in Methuen, MA, focused on supporting students from early childhood through 8th grade in a school setting. This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of children across PreK to 8th grade, engaging with a diverse caseload including early childhood and elementary students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy services to students from PreK through 8th grade.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Utilize teletherapy techniques alongside traditional methods to maximize reach and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Certification by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
- Experience working with pediatric populations and school-aged children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and educators.
- Familiarity with both onsite and teletherapy service delivery models.
