Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is actively hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based position serving students near Lapeer, Michigan. This full-time opportunity allows clinicians to work with a variety of speech and language needs while supporting students in collaborative educational environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Ability to manage evaluations, therapy services, and IEP responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

Position Information

  • Location: Lapeer Area, MI
  • Full-Time: 37.5 Hours Per Week
  • Start: ASAP
  • End Date: June 11, 2027
  • Multi-Site Assignment

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Monitor and document student progress
  • Support educational teams through consultation and collaboration
  • Participate in required meetings and compliance activities

Preferred Experience

  • School-based SLP experience
  • Experience supporting K-12 students
  • Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and mild cognitive disabilities

Education

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Michigan SLP License Required
