Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to design and adapt individualized therapy plans
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop tailored treatment plans to support student success
- Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to maximize student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress monitoring
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Offer consultative support and education to teachers and families
