Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to support students for the upcoming 26/27 school year! This contract role offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact with PreK-8th grade students across two school sites. Your expertise will be valued as you conduct preschool speech evaluations and deliver therapeutic interventions for children, including those with Autism.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Department of Education (DOE) Certification
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred, particularly with preschool evaluations and supporting students with Autism
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to a diverse caseload of PreK-8th grade students
- Administer and interpret evaluations for preschoolers, utilizing bilingual skills to serve both English and Spanish-speaking populations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Offer targeted therapy sessions, with expertise in Autism support and interventions
- Advocate for students communication needs and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines
- Work between two dynamic school sites, fostering strong professional relationships in both settings
