Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active or eligible state licensure as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are considered
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children or adolescents is strongly preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of speech, language, and communication disorders for students across various grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation on student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapists to maximize student support
  • Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for instructional strategies and accommodations
  • Offer guidance and education to staff and parents regarding speech and language development
