This role is well-suited for SLPs experienced in school settings, pediatric care, healthcare environments, or teletherapy, including those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in Connecticut, or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status accepted
- Previous experience with pediatric and/or school-based caseloads preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy services is a plus
- Strong evaluation, documentation, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for PreK-12 students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy strategies tailored to each students needs
- Conduct group and individualized therapy sessions, both in-person or virtually, as assigned
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support student success
- Maintain timely, clear documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress reports
