Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students in an elementary school setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This in-person role focuses on providing services to children in Grades K-5, working collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals. The position is full-time at 37.5 hours per week; however, those seeking part-time opportunities are also welcome to apply. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP licensure and ASHA certification (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment and therapy techniques for a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for referred students in Grades K5
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Document session notes, progress reports, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other team members to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for educational planning
  • Consult with families to support strategies for home practice
