Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or pending state licensure as an SLP
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs, goal setting, and documentation
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Ability to create engaging therapy plans for children with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and screenings to identify students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students IEPs
  • Provide direct therapy services to children in group and one-on-one settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Provide guidance and resources to staff and families regarding communication disorders
