This full-time role supports a K-12 caseload near Medicine Lodge, KS, offering a dynamic environment where your clinical expertise makes a daily impact. Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) applicants accepted
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
- Solid foundation in IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for student success
- Superb communication, time management, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments and therapeutic interventions for students across all grade levels (K-12)
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Deliver direct and consultative services tailored to each students needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with school and regulatory standards
- Communicate progress with families, teachers, and support personnel, fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere
- Attend relevant meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as needed for caseload management
