Job Description

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license (MD SLP License required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with infants or toddlers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with families and staff
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Familiarity with early intervention assessments and documentation

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of infants and toddlers on-site at the district office
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support each child's communication goals
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to service
  • Track progress and modify interventions to ensure optimal outcomes

This flexible contract offers a part-time schedule of 23 days per week, making it well-suited for those balancing multiple commitments. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and continues through July 1, 2027, offering stability and the chance to deeply connect with students and their families.
