Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP certification required
- Previous experience in school-based or early intervention settings preferred
- Strong understanding of early childhood speech and language development
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to tailor treatment plans for diverse needs and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students ages 3-5, addressing communication disorders and supporting individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, or communication issues in early learners
- Collaborate with teachers, interventionists, and families to support holistic development
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to documentation, and develop measurable therapy goals
- Offer guidance and strategies to caregivers and staff for reinforcing skills outside of therapy sessions
