Job Description

Step into a rewarding role as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving a vibrant middle school community for the 20262027 school year. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to provide impactful support to approximately 50 students, helping them achieve their speech and language goals. Youll work closely with a dedicated team of educators and families, using your expertise to guide students through assessments, therapy sessions, and the IEP process.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Hold an active Texas SLP license (required)
  • Possess the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
  • Experience delivering services to middle school-aged students strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Provide both direct and indirect speech-language services to students
  • Develop and monitor IEP goals for students on your caseload
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation for all services and evaluations
  • Collaborate effectively with school staff, special education teams, administrators, and families
  • Serve as a valued resource for supporting student success and advocating for best practices in communication development
