Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist supporting both an elementary program and its neighboring Head Start. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 30 students, spanning elementary and Head Start programs
  • Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations and share results with staff and families for targeted interventions
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals tailored to each students needs
  • Provide both direct and indirect therapy services within various school settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to ensure integrated support for every child
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services, assessments, and progress

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (required for this position)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Proven experience working in schools, particularly with elementary-aged students, is highly valued
  • Skilled in communication, organization, and maintaining thorough records
