Requirements:

  • Valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Strong interest in working within a school setting; previous school-based experience preferred but not required
  • Interest in or experience with pediatric and teletherapy services
  • Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and SLPs with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Commitment to championing the communication needs of diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive SLP services to K12 students across a range of communication and swallowing needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to develop tailored intervention plans
  • Participate in IEP processes, documentation, team meetings, and indirect service time (fully paid)
  • Engage with district staff to contribute solutions and best practices in a small, supportive community
