Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina SLP license
• NC DPI Special Service Personnel - School SLP Credential
• Familiarity with school-based therapy and IEP process
• Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Commitment to evidence-based therapy approaches

Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders within a school environment
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to deliver integrated services
• Maintain documentation and progress reports according to school guidelines
• Adapt and adjust interventions as necessary for optimal student progress
