Make a difference in students communication skills as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity near New Bern, North Carolina. Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina SLP or SLPA state license required
• NC DPI Special Service Personnel - School SLP Credential is mandatory
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screening, evaluations, and assessments for students with speech-language difficulties
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication goals
• Provide direct therapy and intervention services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
• Document and maintain records of assessments, progress, and therapy sessions in compliance with school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal planning
