Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina SLP license
- NC DPI Special Service Personnel - School SLP Credential
- Familiarity with school-based therapy and IEP process
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Commitment to evidence-based therapy approaches
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders within a school environment
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to deliver integrated services
- Maintain documentation and progress reports according to school guidelines
- Adapt and adjust interventions as necessary for optimal student progress
