Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Experience with school-age children across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and educational teams
- School-based experience preferred
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and therapy to students with varying needs
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on speech and language development
- Develop engaging, age-appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual student goals
- Provide insights and support for classroom accommodations and modifications
