Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience working within K-4 school settings preferred
  • Strong evaluation, therapy planning, and collaboration skills
  • Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFs) are not eligible at this time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among K-4th grade students
  • Develop customized treatment plans and maintain accurate records
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student progress
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and document progress in accordance with school policies
  • Provide education and resources for parents and staff regarding communication challenges
