Desired Experience and Skills:
- Valid credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience supporting children in early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Knowledgeable in pediatric speech and language disorders and interventions
- Comfortable adapting approaches for students across grades Pre-K to 12
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to culturally responsive and individualized care
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Work closely with educators and other specialists to support inclusive learning environments
- Provide both direct and consultative services for students across age groups and developmental stages
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Engage families in the therapeutic process, offering strategies and support for home and classroom carryover
