Provide essential speech-language pathology services for students in a full-time, onsite position at a school located in Marshall, MI. This contract role runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, serving a diverse K-12 caseload. The role is ideal for a Michigan-licensed SLP seeking a rewarding opportunity to support student communication development within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy to K-12 students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing assessment and intervention planning.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support student goals and improve communicative outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan license in Speech-Language Pathology (MI Licensed SLP) required.
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) and familiarity with school-based therapy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload efficiently.
