Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with elementary students, providing impactful speech and language services in a vibrant, supportive school environment. This full-time assignment begins September 14th and extends through November 30th, covering a maternity leave during the fall semester. You'll work onsite with an engaged caseload of 50-60 students, contributing to their communication and educational growth at the elementary level.
Applicants with ASHA CCCs or Clinical Fellows are welcomethis is a great chance to develop your skills or build upon your experience in a school-based setting.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred, but Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Experience supporting school-aged children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation in compliance with school and district policies
