A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with students in an elementary school setting, serving grades K-5. This full-time position, located in Marquette, MI, offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners communication development through in-person support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success discussions
- Support a positive learning environment fostering student growth and confidence
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience serving elementary school-aged children, preferably K-5
- Strong assessment and treatment skills across speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to student-centered care and educational excellence
