Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs are welcome
  • Prior experience in a school setting is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organization and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and language challenges
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a supportive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
  • Offer guidance and education to families and staff on best practices in speech and language development
