A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a Special Education Cooperative serving schools in the Marion, IN area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support students communication development in a dynamic educational setting. The position is primarily based at an elementary school with a caseload of approximately 83 students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in students
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing in-person therapy sessions to improve students' speech and language skills
- Maintaining detailed documentation of services and progress reports
- Participating in team meetings and compliance with special education regulations
Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively with children and school staff
- Ability to manage a large caseload while maintaining quality therapy services
- Commitment to in-person service delivery at the assigned school location
