This contract opportunity is located near the vibrant Tucson, AZ area, where you'll play a pivotal role supporting elementary and middle school students with a range of cognitive abilities in a collaborative educational setting.
Your ability to communicate fluently in both Spanish and English, combined with your background in school-based speech therapy, will make a distinct difference for students with mild to significant cognitive impairments. Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Arizona SLP licensure (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC)
- At least one year of experience in pediatric and/or school-based therapy settings
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
- Strong interpersonal and multicultural skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments and therapy services for students from elementary to middle school
- Create detailed, individualized treatment plans tailored to diverse student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress
- Document outcomes and maintain compliance with school, district, and state requirements
- Provide culturally responsive services to support bilingual learners
