In this contract position, youll use your expertise to work with students from early childhood through high school, helping them achieve academic and personal milestones. This opportunity allows you to collaborate with a diverse student population, providing services and strategies tailored to each developmental stage.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Experience or interest in working with children in early childhood, elementary, and secondary school settings
• Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and creating individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students across diverse age groups, including Pre-K, Kindergarten, Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
• Previous school-based SLP experience is an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in Pre K, elementary, middle, and high school environments
• Evaluate communication skills and develop appropriate intervention plans
• Participate as an active team member in IEP meetings, working alongside educators and families
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and report outcomes to stakeholders
• Employ current best practices and adapt strategies based on student needs and developmental stages
