Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students across K-12 settings for the 2025-2026 academic year. This contract position involves a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, working with a diverse student population in a collaborative educational environment. Youll contribute to student success by delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services, collaborating with educational staff, and advocating for students communication needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP Licensure required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and documentation for students in K-12
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain clear, thorough records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Provide consultation and resources to staff and families as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a vital team member
