Job Description

A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in grades PreK through 8 within a vibrant school environment in Modesto, CA. This contract role offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students, delivering individualized speech-language services that foster communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop tailored intervention plans in compliance with IEP goals.
  • Provide direct services through pull-out, push-in, or consultation models based on student needs.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
  • Attend IEP meetings and actively contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring.
  • Serve students with a range of needs, including mild to moderate disabilities and specialized programs such as Autism SDC, SDC ESN, SDC MMSN, and preformal classes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in California (SLP - CA license required).
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
  • Strong skills in RTI, assessment, and delivering services aligned with special education requirements.
  • Ability to work efficiently across multiple sites if needed.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.

Location: Modesto, California (with potential service at two school sites).
