Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility to obtain
- State licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to develop rapport quickly and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering inclusion and supporting student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
- Provide direct therapy services, both one-on-one and in small groups
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students academic and social communication needs
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to case management conferences
- Educate teachers and families on strategies for improving communication in various settings
