Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Comfort with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with a variety of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote best outcomes for each student
- Monitor and document students progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
- Provide direct therapy services and consultative support within both individual and group settings
