Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license (or eligibility) in North Dakota
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric clinical settings preferred
- Strong understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies for ages PreK-12
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Adaptability, compassion, and a passion for supporting young learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by teachers or families
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student progress and growth
- Deliver effective therapy sessionsboth individually and in small groupstargeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and family members to carry out student-centered interventions and maximize educational outcomes
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, keeping thorough records and reporting updates to the team
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute professional expertise to support whole-child development
