Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP or SLPA license for the state of Virginia
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLPs) or an accredited SLPA program completion
- Experience working in school settings, supporting students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and measure student progress
- Commitment to upholding best practices and state regulations
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, interdisciplinary team discussions, and professional development
