Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their communication and academic development throughout the school year. This contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates who are ready to deliver speech therapy services onsite. The role will be based in the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas.

Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFY candidates are welcome
  • Experience providing speech and language services in school settings is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills are essential
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite speech-language therapy to students, including assessments, IEP development, and intervention
  • Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maximize student success in academic and social settings
  • Deliver direct and consultative services that address a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Engage and communicate regularly with families and staff regarding student progress and strategies for carryover

Position Details:

  • Contract duration: August 17th, 2026 June 12th, 2027
  • Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), standard school hours
  • Onsite work in Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge
  • Open to SLPs and CFY applicants
