Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Proven background in pediatric speech pathology, particularly within school settings
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop and deliver evidence-based therapy, tailored for each child
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to optimize student progress
- Document and report on student performance, progress, and treatment outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for goal setting and service planning
- Support classroom teachers with strategies and tools to facilitate student communication
- Maintain compliance with all relevant school district and state/federal documentation requirements
