Job Description

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Previous experience or clinical practicum in pediatric or school-based settings
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention planning skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
  • Familiarity with IEP process and educational requirements for students with communication challenges

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, screenings, and comprehensive assessments of students speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students on caseload
  • Consult regularly with educators, parents, and other professionals regarding student progress and recommended strategies
  • Monitor and report on student progress, making data-driven recommendations for ongoing support
  • Uphold ethical standards and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations
